A viral video is doing the rounds on Tik Tok showing a Texas mom waxing her 3-year-old daughter's unibrow. The woman said she's protecting her daughter named Bliss from bullies in the future. Leah Garcia captioned the video, "I don't care! I don't care!"

The 31-year-old wrote, "I'd rather y'all call me a bad mom before I let my 3 year old walk around with a unibrow like my parents did!" As she waxed her daughter, Bliss squealed, "Ow, mom, that hurt me," to which Garcia replied, "All right, girl, now you got two eyebrows!"

The viral video has clocked over 18.2 million views and 2.5 million likes and has received over 30,000 comments.

The video divided the people on social media, with user commenting, "No way I just saw a woman wax her child’s unibrow. And when I say child I mean literally can’t be any older than kindergarten. I’m in a state of shock. When I came to my mom upset about my unibrow she reminded me how beautiful it was because my fav actress had one."

Another wrote, "Everyone agreeing with her bothered me so much! She’s projecting her own insecurities onto her child."

A third chimed in, "Have I gone mad I saw a tiktok where the mom waxed her 3yr old daughters unibrow, and all the comments were like WAY TO GO MOM! All these women saying they wish their moms helped them wax their arms and faces as literal children Am I mad for thinking thats a bit extreme?"

However, some supported Garcia as one person commented, "I'm so glad my mom waxed my italian unibrow when I was in like 3rd grade & saved me years of bullying idk why all these social media accts are calling it child abuse like are you serious."

Another added, "I'm a preschool teacher and see this all the time. She will thank you later!"

While speaking to TODAY Parents, Garcia said she was shocked by the backlash. She said, "As a child, I had very thick and dark eyebrows and I'd shave behind my parents' back because my father didn't believe children should worry about things like that. I remember a boy saying to me in kindergarten, 'Why are your eyebrows so big?' "

Garcia does not want her own daughter Bliss and her 11-year-old sister Behautti in a similar situation. Garcia said, "We have 'waxing days' at home," she explained. "I ask, 'Who wants to wax?' No one is holding down Bliss β€” she's not screaming in pain. It's her choice."

According to Garcia, unibrow waxing is something her daughter can wish to maintain or drop altogether. She said, "I understand where (critics) are coming from but kids can be cruel," adding, "Waxing her unibrow isn't giving in to bullies; it's preventing them from targeting my daughter."
