Controversy finds GOP Rep Lauren Boebert once again just a day after she was trolled with the hashtag 'LaurenBobertIsSoDumb'. From making headlines for her ardent faith in QAnon theories to using transphobic slurs while condemning equality as 'gay supremacy' - Boebert's riffs with social media are endless, but this time she's touched more than just a nerve. Boebert just tweeted out condemning the 'senseless violence' of the gunman who killed 10 in a Boulder, Colorado supermarket on March 22. But social media is having none of it as Bobert continues to be one of the most vehemently pro-gun activists who carries their glock around for show.

The suspect, who is in custody, was spotted bleeding from his leg at the time of arrest, managed to kill 10 people, firing at least 12 shots at random, sounds of which were caught on tape by a witness. Police were able to rescue around 12 people from inside the supermarket King Soopers situated in a residential area near the University of Colorado. A mix of families and college students were at the place when the gunman went on his rampage. This comes after Robert Aaron Long went on his massage spa shooting rampage in Atlanta, killing eight people, six of them Asian women, just a week ago on March 16.

Who is Lauren Boebert? Congresswoman vows to carry Glock on DC streets, branded as 'problem in this country'

About the Boulder news, Boebert tweeted "Ase continue to hear the news coming out of Boulder, I’m praying for the police, first responders, and those affected by this tragedy. May God be with us as we make sense of this senseless violence, and may we unify and not divide during this time." For the Republican congresswoman who has actively advocated for the right to wear her gun within the premises of the capital, this just didn't seem to gel with social media users.

Twitter ripped into Boebert's condolences, pointing out "“May God be with us as we make sense of this senseless violence”?Seriously??? It’s actually quite easy to make sense of this senseless violence Lauren, and you are a huge part of our current problem." Others simply blamed, "Every picture you posted fetishizing guns make you directly responsible for these murders. We don’t want to unify with gun glorifiers. Doesn’t matter if shooter is Republican or Democrat because it’s the GUNS!"

Others quipped using go-to justification that has been provided for violence like this. Just like a now-fired Cherokee County Sheriff Office spokesperson had said that the Atlanta shooter was having a 'bad day', one user on Twitter commented about the Boulder gunman: "The “good guy with a gun” missed his shift I guess?" Others used photos of police rescuing people out of the supermarket where the shootings happened and wrote: "Please take a look at the young woman wearing the pink hat. That is pure fear. Think about her the next time you pose with guns like they are toys. The next time you post against common sense gun laws. Most people would have empathy, you promote this violence."

Others think "For once in your goddamn life stop flapping your thumbs. People like you are directly responsible for MY friends, MY family & MY community being put in harms way. Your anti-science, gun-fetish, "trigger the libs" divisive bulls*t needs to stop. NOW. You're literally killing ppl." One user even replied "Maybe if people like you would treat guns with respect and not use as props to “show”toughness by implying you’re willing to shoot political opponents, your words would have meaning. Real gun owners know people like you feed violence by your infantile gun fetishism & recklessness."
