Lauren Boebert, the Q-Anon supporting, pro-gun Republican Congresswoman, had last trended on Twitter after she tweeted about why she should be able to carry firearms into the Capitol building. Now she is trending again -- but the Twitter trend isn't a flattering one. Users are asking others to complete the hashtag '#LaurenBoebertissodumb'.

Boebert was attacked on Twitter for promoting the latest QAnon conspiracy theory about the GOP retaking the majority in Congress following a supposed wave of Democratic resignations and arrests. Boebert promoted this latest QAnon conspiracy theory at a recent town hall meeting.

The Colorado congresswoman suggested that she had insider knowledge of a conspiracy theory, which claims that secret documents declassified in the final days of the Trump administration will bring down his enemies.

โ€œAnd this is my opinion with that information that I have, I believe we will see resignations begin to take place,โ€ said Boebert according to the Delta County Independent. She added: "And I think we can take back the majority in the House and the Senate before 2022 when all of this is ended.โ€

What are 'transvexhikes'? Lauren Boebert invents transphobic slur while calling Equality Act 'supremacy of gays'

Social media users did not take kindly to this. After a user started the trend and urged others to "Use the hashtag and complete the sentence. RT #LaurenBoebertIsSoDumb ________", others piled in the comments.

One tweeted: "#LaurenBoebertIsSoDumb she won't wear a mask because she thinks God will protect her from covid, but carries a gun because she doesn't believe God will protect her from bad guys." Boebert was elected in a conservative district of Colorado after she made waves as an activist who straps a pistol to her hip.

Another pointed out "#LaurenBoebertIsSoDumb she misspelled her name. True Story." A screenshot of the Parler post where Boebert had misspelled her name as 'Bobert' was included. The post has been edited since with the correct spelling of Boebert's name, but the screenshot of the week-old message was shared by the user.

Another person pointed out that it was "Fucking scary she's raising 3 sons," while another on a lighter note, joked, "#LaurenBoebertIsSoDumb That her test results from her IQ test came back negative." Other tweets went for the low-hanging fruit in terms of humor and claimed: "#LaurenBoebertIsSoDumb , she thought the Coronavirus happened after you drank too many Coronas."

This comes after Boebert made the explosive claims about equality being a 'supremacy of gays'. Speaking on Banon's show, Bobert had alleged โ€œThere is nothing about equality in that act! If anything, itโ€™s supremacyโ€”of gays, lesbians, andโ€”uh transvexhikes." Did Boebert make up the transphobic slur on the spot since "transvexhikes" has never been heard before, and certainly not on TV?

It is more likely that Boebert actually wanted to use the term "transvestite," which according to Merriam Webster, refers to a person who wears clothes designed for the opposite sex, but had no idea about how to pronounce the word. The word "transvestite" has acquired a derogatory slant in its use over the years and the term "cross-dresser" has been suggested by GLAAD to avoid discrimination.
