Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that Chris Rock has refused to file any kind of complaint or report after Will Smith slapped him across the face during the 94th Academy Awards in Hollywood, LA, on Sunday, March 27.
The official statement released by the LAPD confirms Chris Rock declined to file a report against Smith. After Chris Rock made a joke about Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith in his position as an entertaining host, Smith walked to the stage and slapped Rock.

The official statement released by LAPD read, "LAPD investigative entities are aware of an incident between two individuals during the Academy Awards program. The incident involved one individual slapping another." They further said, "The individual involved has declined to file a police report. If the involved party desires a police report at a later date, LAPD will be available to complete an investigative report."
Pinkett Smith has been struggling with alopecia. Alopecia is a serious hair loss condition and Pinkett recently opened up about how she has been struggling with it.
