LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After the news of Lance Reddick's death, fans are paying the late actor tributes on social media. On Friday, fans contributed their favorite Reddick snippets, including anything from his work on 'The Wire' to his talk-show appearances. On March 17, 2023, Reddick, 60, died in his Los Angeles home; his representatives informed Variety of his death.

Reddick's appearance on 'The Eric Andre Show' was one particular footage that received a lot of attention. Reddick was being questioned by Andre in the 2013 video when he became agitated and ended up banging his fist onto Andre's desk, scaring him. The host of the 2013 interview asks Reddick about a wide range of odd subjects, such as claymation and baseball, before Hannibal Buress digs into a huge bag of crisps. Reddick stood up and banged his fist on the desk, exclaiming, "You need a new desk," as though he had grown disgusted with Andre's absurd talk show persona.

Reddick claimed that the performance was both "planned" and "improvised" when speaking with the Emmys in 2018. He stated, "It was planned, but improvised. I didn't know I was going to do that. I put a hole in it, and that's why I said, 'You need a new desk.'" Andre reportedly told Reddick to "get p**** off and walk away," but he wasn't prepared for the punch on his table.

He will be dearly missed."

RIP king."

Such sad news."
