How did Lance Reddick die?

Though the investigation is still on to determine the cause of his death, it has been reported that the actor died of natural causes. Soon after the news of his death started spreading, tributes began pouring in on his last post with fans admiring his acting and incredible personality.

What did Reddick say about Michael K Williams?

Michael K Williams, 54, died of a fatal overdose in September 2021. Talking about Williams on Radio Andy’s Bevy Smith on March 16, Reddick said, “I just couldn’t believe it. I mean, I knew when we were on ‘The Wire’ that he struggled with [addiction]. And I only knew it because he told me. But quite frankly, Michael and I didn’t stay in touch. So because of the trajectory of his career, it never occurred to me that that was still going on.”

Reddick said he saw Williams last in February 2020 at the American Black Film Festival, where 'The Wire' bagged the Best Classic TV Show award.

'Lance Reddick - aka Commander Zavala'

“Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out and break their grip on Freehold. Lance Reddrick - aka Commander Zavala,” commented a passionate follower on Instagram.
