For those of you keeping up with 'La Brea' Season 1, the biggest plot twist of the season was easily the fact that Gavin was, in fact, Isiah. Returning to 1988 was crucial to ensure that his children, Josh and Izzy, stayed alive. However, that wasn't the only twist this season.

Two of the most intriguing characters in the series would certainly have to be Aldridge and Silas, who have more secrets than they care to expose. While Silas has been painted as the big bad, Aldridge seems like a character that can't be trusted either, as she only seems to give out information in parts and pieces when she sees fit.

'La Brea' Fan Review: Fans discuss what they would do if they could 'go back to 1988'

Episode 10 is ultimately kicked off by Aldridge, who explains that Silas wants to hold back Isiah while he needs to cross the portal and travel to 1988 to live as Gavin. However, Aldridge continues to know more than she lets on. She even gives Lilly a page from Silas' notebook and tasks her with going back to 1988, exposing that Lilly is Ella. While Isiah makes it across, Lilly fails to do so. However, suddenly, she and Josh and Riley are immediately sucked into the portal. The primary indicator that Lilly was unable to make it across was that the map Ella had begun to disappear, implying that she never made it across.

However, Ella seems to cross over to 10,000BC just fine after Lilly's disappearance, which could imply that she, Josh and Riley all find themselves in 1988. For now, there seems to be no quick way to save them, as the portals open at random, and there seems to be no sure shot way to tell what period they will open to, or so we think. This brings us back to Aldridge. Right since she appeared in 10,000BC, she knew exactly where to look and what to find. Moreover, she even mentions that she is the cause behind the sinkholes opening, adding that she and Silas are scientists.

Unfortunately, there is a lot more to their relationship than revealed, and for now, both of them can't quite be trusted. However, the group certainly has more faith in Aldridge, as Scott follows her to a mysterious skyscraper in the middle of the 10,000BC that she claims to have built herself. The question now remains -- can Josh, Riley and Lilly be saved? But, more importantly, who is Aldridge? Is she an ally or a bigger enemy than Silas? Guess we will have to wait and see!
