Kristina Ozturk aka 'Batumi Mama' from Georgia recently grabbed the headlines for being a 24-year-old mother of 22 babies. The super-rich mom, who has 16 live-in nannies at home to help her with the children, aspires to have 105 children in future, as per her Instagram bio. She is married to millionaire businessman Galip Ozturk, 57, and together the couple spent over $195,000 on surrogacy. Most of their babies were born to surrogate mothers around the world between March 2020 and July 2021.
Their Instagram photos might present the idea of a picture-perfect life, however, there is more than meets the eye. Galip Ozturk is in fact a fugitive Turkish magnate who is wanted in his country for soliciting murder. He used his money and connections to escape a life sentence in Turkey and is currently settled in Georgia. He met his present wife, Kristina, a year ago in Georgia when she was only 23 years old. Galip and Kristina Ozturk are now being featured in global news for their extraordinarily 'large' family.

Galip Ozturk is the founder of Turkish company Metro Holding, which presently has more than $500 million investments in Georgia. According to Duva R English, Ozturk was sentenced in Turkey for soliciting the murder of Kuvvet Köseoğlu in Istanbul's Beyoğlu. The Supreme Court of Appeals even approved his life sentence for the crime.
However, the business mogul managed to flee the country using his power and started afresh in Georgia. He is notably the owner of Metro Tourism, a firm notorious for multiple sexual assault cases.
Before marrying Kristina, Galip Ozturk already had nine children from his previous relationships. He had one biological child with the Batumi Mama about a year ago. Soon afterward, they decided to expand their family quite exponentially, and do not plan to stop anytime soon. Together, the couple has 21 children via surrogacy while Kristina has a six-year-old daughter from her previous relationship. Meanwhile, Galip has fathered a total of 30 children.
The couple spends a whopping $96,000 every year on the nannies, who work round-the-clock to take care of the infants. Kristina, who has over 175,000 followers on her Instagram profile, had previously spoken to Fabulous about her unique, and busy, life as a mother. "I’m with the kids all the time, doing all the things that moms normally do. The only difference is the amount of kids. Each day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family," she had shared, insisting that she is a hands-on mom.
Kristina and Galip do not eat with the children during the week due to his workload, but they make sure to make up for it on weekends. "We usually feed the children in due time, and we have dinner together with my husband very late. On weekends, we eat together, spend time alone as much as possible, which is why Sunday is a day off on the blog so that we can be just a family without prying eyes,” she explained.
