TRUCKEE, CALIFORNIA: After Law enforcement acknowledged it was “more than likely” the body of Kiely Rodni found in Prosser Lake, who went missing on August 6 and was last spotted driving away from a party at the Prosser Family Campground in her 2013 silver Honda CRV, Rodni’s boyfriend, Jagger Westfall, posted an emotional video describing the pain he feels after her loss. He said, “It f*****g hurts.”

In a video uploaded on Facebook, Westfall said, "This was an insanely f****d up situation and still is insanely f****d up. I still don’t know how to process it and I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to process it. I know it f*****g hurts and I know it hurts all of you. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who put the effort in and tried so fucking hard to bring her home." "It really means a lot to me, and I’m sure it means a lot to her too. She wouldn’t want us to sit around sad as f*****g all the time. She wants us to be happy, she wants us to be safe and she wants us to have a good life. That’s all she ever wanted for anyone. I want each and every one of you to live the way Kiely would want you to live," expressed the 18-year-old boyfriend.

Westfall also posted an old video of him and Rodni on Instagram where he wrote, "You were my entire world and you always will be. I will never love someone the way I loved you. I missed you even when I was holding you in my arms. I could never get enough of you. I Promised I would always be here for you and I still am. #LLK"

Following the news of the discovery of Rodni's body, the family thanked “the army of warriors, matriarchs, healers, and helpers” in a statement made on August 22. It read, "We are eternally grateful for the love and support you have shown us in the last couple of weeks." It further said, "Mr Rogers famously told a story of “looking for the helpers” whenever he saw scary things in the news. We have not had to look for helpers, as you have all come to our rescue in full force. We are forever indebted to you. While we accept this sadness cast under death’s shadow, the rising sun shines light upon us, reminding us not to mourn our loss, but to celebrate Kiely’s spirit and the gift that we all received in knowing her. Kiely will surely remain with us even though we will not get her back."

As previously reported, Adventures With Purpose, an Oregon-based volunteer group, consisting of six divers, claimed on the afternoon of August 21 that they have found a body in Prosser Lake and it belongs to the missing teen via a Facebook post. It read, "Car is upside down in only 14 of water. We have CONFIRMED Kiely is inside. Family Notified. Law Enforcement on their way." However, a spokesperson for the Placer County sheriff’s office said that the body’s identity is not yet confirmed. Later on August 22, Nevada County Sheriff Shannan Moon, as per SF Gate, said, "We believe it is our missing person. We have not been able to positively identify, but it’s more than likely where we are today. We wanted to make sure that the family had all that information first. The last thing we wanted was for them to learn information from outside our team."
