The article contains spoilers for Season 2 of 'Kidding'

As per schedule, 'Kidding' aired two hilarious episodes that had emotions running high, and while Jim Carrey and the rest of the cast delivered epic performances, fans were stuck on one particular character and how much they hate him.

While Episode 3 saw Jeff Pickles (Jim Carrey) launch the wifi-operated Mr. Pickles doll, Episode 4 saw Deirdre (Catherine Keener) try to get the Mr. Pickles show back on air. What they didn't bank on was Deirdre's husband, Scott Perera (Bernard White), to be a mean spiteful brat.

Deirdre now runs the Pickles Empire after Jeff fired Seb (Frank Langella). While Deirdre demanded the bare minimum to make sure the show goes on air, she has to deal with her divorce proceedings that included a mediation with her estranged husband Scott and their lawyers. The couple, who were toxic while living together, share a daughter Maddy (Juliet Morris) and decided that "everything will be halved down the middle". What Deirdre didn't realize was that she owns the characters on the puppet show and now Scott, owns them as well, just when she is working so hard to get the show on air.

It was a sad day for Deirdre and the beloved puppets on the show, and the fans weren't having it with Scott. "Scott is really turning out to be kind of a sh#t, isn't he? @SHOKidding#Kidding," tweeted a fan. "Wow. Scott is a d***** #Kidding," tweeted another upset fan.

Amid an ugly divorce, the puppets seem to have become collateral damage. The beloved puppets that have become household names and so loved by the casts are now in the hands of a man that's ready to sell them to food companies. "Who else is getting weepy over the puppets right now? Just me? Cool. #Kidding #Showtime," tweeted an emotional fan. "I never thought a show could make me feel so attached to puppets. #Kidding," tweeted another.

'Kidding' Season 2 airs on Sundays at 10 pm EST on Showtime.
