Who is Khloie Torres? Uvalde shooting survivor, 10, reveals Irma Garcia begged shooter to stop
One of the survivors of the Texas school shooting of May 24 shed light on the gruesome incident revealing a few chilling details on how the teen shooter gunned down the kids and teacher Irma Garcia. A 10-year-old girl named Khloie Torres spoke to Fox News where she revealed that gunman Salvador Ramos did not fire randomly when he killed 19 children and two adults.
Irma Garcia was a fourth-grade teacher who was gunned down by Salvador. She died while trying to save the children from the mass shooting. Speaking about the incident, Khloie Torres said, “I was scared… To be like, 'what were my last words going to be?' I was really scared.” The 10-year-old was attending class with teacher Irma Garcia when the shooting took place.

Who is Khloie Torres?
Khloie Torres while speaking to Fox News about her late teacher said, “She told us we were going to go on a quick lockdown. So, my friend, he got up and turned off the TV because that's what we had to do. And, right when she went out to find the key and lock the door from the outside, we heard gunshots.”
She further told the outlet, Garcia tried to close the door but Salvador managed to force his way inside. She added, “[Ms. Garcia] ran over to us, sat down and started covering my friend.” Garcia begged the gunman not to shoot. “She started saying ‘No!’ because he said ‘you will die’ and he shot my friend with the phone, and he shot my teachers Ms. [Irma] Garcia and Ms. [Eva] Mireles”, added Khloie.
'He shot the girl next to me’
Spilling further details on the incident, Khloie revealed that the gunman walked around the classroom and shot at everyone he could see before arriving at her. She stated, “He shot the girl next to me, adding, “I've been shot!' And, I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want him to come over and shoot me. So, I stayed quiet. He came back and shot her again because she wouldn't be quiet.” She shared that Salvador moved over to the classroom connected to hers and continued to fire away. She ran into the classroom next to hers after the gunfire stopped adding, “It's hard because there were bodies everywhere!”
Irma Garcia’s grief-stricken husband Joe Garcia died just two days after the mass shooting. He passed away of a heart attack as a consequence of the Robb Elementary School mass shooting. The two had been married for 24 years and left four children behind.
