Kayleigh McEnany has made some bizarre claims that Donald Trump will attend "his own inauguration" ceremony in January 2021 for his "second term". When Fox Business asked the White House Press Secretary whether Trump will attend President-elect Joe Biden's January 20 inauguration or not, McEnany said "I think the president will attend his own inauguration. He would have to be there, in fact."

McEnany followed it up with: "Again, you know that’s many steps away here in we’re talking January and President Trump believes he will be President Trump, have a second term. Litigation is the first step, many steps away from that."

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, however, has announced in a late Thursday statement that “there is no evidence that any system deleted or lost votes, changed or was in any way compromised.” As part of the Department of Homeland Security, the agency has also rejected the sitting US president's repeated claims and complaints of a “rigged election”. They went on to declare in the statement that the 2020 election was "the most secure in American history.”

In response to the agency's statement, Trump cried out “Rigged Election!” on Twitter once again this Friday, November 12. “For years the Dems have been preaching how unsafe and rigged our elections have been. Now they are saying what a wonderful job the Trump administration did in making 2020 the most secure election ever. Actually, this is true, except for what the Democrats did. Rigged Election!” read the president's tweet.

With her bizarre claims, McEnany has now joined the list of Trump allies and aides who refused to concede to the election that was called by the press and social media for Biden last Saturday. Trump adviser Peter Navarro also told the outlet on Friday, November 12, that they are "moving forward under the assumption of a second Trump term." Navarro claimed that the Trump administration has "what appears in some sense to be an immaculate deception."

Continuing with claims of Trump winning the election, he remarked, "If you look statistically at what happened, clearly the president won this election, he was leading on Election Day. And then, after Election Day somehow in these key battleground states, they got just enough votes to catch up to the president,” Navarro added.

Although no widespread voter fraud has been proven with evidence, "Our assumption is the second Trump term, we think he won that election, and any speculation about what Joe Biden might do I think is moot at this point.”

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also spoke in support of the president's second term on Tuesday, November 10, adding that there will be a "smooth" White House transition for the same. “There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration,” Pompeo told the media with a smile at a press conference. This prompted the president to commend Pompeo, tweeting, "That’s why Mike was number one in his class at West Point!”

Pompeo continued, “We’re ready. The world is watching what’s taking place. We’re going to count all the votes, when the process is complete there’ll be electors selected. The constitution lays it out pretty clearly.” He added: “The world should have every confidence that transition necessary to make sure that the state department is functional today, successful today, and successful when the president who’s in office on January 20th a minute after no one will be successful.”

Along with the claims, Pompeo also vowed that “I am very confident that we will – we must – count every legal vote and any one that wasn’t lawful ought not be counted. Gotta get that right. When we get it right, we’ll get it right. We’re in good shape,” he added. While Vice President Mike Pence declared on Twitter: “It ain’t over til’ it’s over," Wisconsin Sen Ron Johnson admitted he is yet to congratulate Biden on his win as there is "nothing to congratulate him about.”
