Kayleigh McEnany declares Trump won Pennsylvania, Twitter flags post and Internet says 'yet another KayLIE'
As the US waits patiently – and some anxiously – to know who their next president will be, people across the globe are keeping an eye on every minute of the election news, as it is unfolding. And, while the votes are still being counted and nothing final has been declared, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany seems to be thinking differently.
On Twitter, she wrote: “VICTORY for President @realDonaldTrump in PENNSYLVANIA.” The Associated Press hasn’t called the race in Pennsylvania yet. Even Twitter flagged the tweet with the note: “Official sources may not have called the race when this was Tweeted.”

Her tweet got a lot of reactions from social media users as well. One wrote: “Gurl, you about to lose your job.” A user asked, “Vote counting will not be finished there until Friday. Are you a fortune teller?” One alleged, “Yet another KayLIE.” A user advised, “Start looking for a new job!”
Vote counting will not be finished there until Friday. Are you a fortune teller?

A user accused her writing, “Remember your first ever press conference, when you promised that you’d never lie to the American people? That was your first lie.” One opined, “Despicable. As a military veteran, I would like for you to wait until ballots get counted from our troops protecting us overseas. If it’s not too much trouble.” A user commented, “How can you declare victory when there are more than a million votes still to be counted? Don't you believe in democracy? Don't you believe that every vote should be counted?” Another tweeted, “This is the White House press secretary tweeting disinformation about a United States election.”

Meanwhile, the Donald Trump campaign has said that they plan to “immediately” request for a recount in the battleground state of Wisconsin. AP declared that Biden has defeated Trump in Wisconsin, securing the state’s 10 electoral votes. They called Wisconsin for Biden after election officials in the state said all outstanding ballots had been counted, except for a few hundred in one township and an expected small number of provisional ballots. They also announced lawsuits in Michigan and Pennsylvania. On the other hand, Biden announced the ‘Biden Fight Fund’.
