Body language expert claims Kate Middleton 'looked through' Meghan Markle with an 'icy stare'
LONDON, UK: The feud between the new Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is an open secret. A body language expert has claimed that there was tension between the two women as Kate stared down at Meghan with what could be described as an "icy stare" during the walkabout.
It all happened when mourners gathered to pay their respects and leave flowers following the death of Queen Elizabeth on September 8. The "fab four" Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan greeted well-wishers outside Windsor Castle during the walkabout on Saturday, September 10. Footage from the event shows shows Kate looking at Meghan with a “scary” intensity, before realising she was being filmed. She abruptly breaks into a smile and waves at the camera.

While a certain set of people said the incident was being over analyzed, body language expert and connection specialist Katia Loisel said it was right to sense some "serious tension" between the two women, as per 7News.
Loisel said that Meghan looked “ill at ease” during the meet. She said, "Quite unlike the confident Meghan we know, Meghan appeared ill at ease during this encounter, which is not surprising given the recent criticism that she has faced.” She point at the lack of eye contact, interaction and acknowledgment of Meghan as signs that Kate was not happy at all. “On numerous occasions Meghan looked over at Kate, however, the gaze wasn’t reciprocated. Rather, Kate appeared to look through her, suggesting underlying tension between the pair,” said Loisel
Loisel claimed that Kate’s posture was "tense." She went on to add that during the apparent stare down, Kate’s lips were tightly pressed together tightly as she had a “fixed glare” on Meghan. “Meghan appeared clearly taken aback and uncertain, stepping sideways, orientating her body away from Kate, shifting her weight from foot, her head slightly stooped,” Loisel said, adding, "Her gestures uncertain and hesitant with the use of manipulators or self-adaptors further suggesting discomfort and uncertainty."
“Meghan’s hand lifted hesitantly as if to wave, but stopped mid air, rather pausing to adjust her hair, her head and gaze lowered, before looking up and giving a quick wave, her arm coming back to rest in front of her body in a partial arm barrier, which is what we see in this photo,” said Loisel. “Meghan’s nonverbal communication suggests that she may have felt out of place and didn’t quite know where to put herself, with Prince Harry gently standing behind her, touching her arms and leading her in a protective and reassuring show of support,” she concluded.
