Katalin Erzsebet Bradacs: Ex-porn star stabs toddler son to death over custody battle with husband
A Hungarian former porn star allegedly stabbed her own two-year-old son to death and dumped him at the checkout counter of an Italian supermarket. The heinous crime took place in the midst of a brutal custody battle with the toddler's biological father.
Katalin Erzsebet Bradacs, 44, was arrested and charged with the murder of two-year-old Alex Juhasz, after she was accused of stabbing him to death and laying out his mutilated corpse on top of a checkout counter in a Lidl supermarket. The former adult actress has since been taken into custody in the city of Perugia after investigators recovered the suspected murder weapon in her handbag, the New York Post reported.

Bradacs reportedly entered the Lidl chain store in Citta della Pieve community in Umbria on Friday, October 1, and placed her son's remains on one of the counters before going hysterical and shouting for help. The toddler was later found to have been stabbed nine times across his chest and neck. Authorities found several other items at a disused building nearby, including Bradac's jumper and little Alex's blood-stained T-shirt, which reportedly had nine stab holes on it, according to Newsweek.
Detectives scoured CCTV surveillance footage from nearby areas and did not find other possible suspects at the crime scene apart from Bradacs herself. While the murder was not caught on camera, CCTV footage showed the suspect arriving at and leaving the crime scene, according to The Sun. Bradacs likely killed her own son as revenge against Norbert Juhasz, Alex's father, from whom she was separated and was embroiled in a nasty child custody dispute with, investigators said. The building where the crime allegedly took place was cordoned off by the authorities.
Norbert Juhasz, who reportedly lives in Hungary, alerted the authorities after receiving a photo of his dying son on messaging platform WhatsApp. Authorities believe it was Bradacs who sent the photo moments before she took her son's body to the store. According to the Newsflash, Bradacs eerily captioned the photo, "Now it will no longer belong to anyone."
During interrogation, Bradacs declared that she "did not kill" her son. However, she gave three contradictory accounts of the events before opting to remain silent based on the advice of her attorney Enrico Renzoni. The filicide suspect had reportedly been living at a home in the Tuscan town of Chiusi Scalo belonging to a man who had managed a former nightclub where she was employed in the past. Juhasz told authorities that his ex-wife had fled to Italy with their son last month after a Hungarian court granted him custody of the child.
Bradacs was allegedly mistreating her son the day before his death. Meanwhile, investigators are continuing to look for further leads in the incident. That said, Bradacs reportedly also has an 18-year-old son who lives in Hungary. His biological father is deceased, Newsweek reported.
