Spielberg's porn star daughter Mikaela 'heartbroken' after arrest for assault: 'I was the one who called for help'
Steven Spielberg's daughter, Mikaela Spielberg, who was recently arrested on charges of domestic violence, says she feels "betrayed" and "heartbroken" as she was the one who called for help.
Court records reveal how the 23-year-old was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday for a fight with her 47-year-old pro-darts-player fiance Chuck Pankow.
According to Page Six, she spent 11 hours in custody on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence before being freed on a $1,000 bond. She is due to be arraigned before a judge next Monday.
Speaking to The Sun, the budding pornstar said she should have never been arrested and blamed the whole ordeal on a miscommunication with law enforcement.
“I am personally very heartbroken and I feel betrayed because I called for medical assistance,” Spielberg told the UK outlet in a statement.
Meanwhile, Pankow told The Sun he had not wanted the case pursued as "no one is hurt." “We are both fine. It was a huge misunderstanding. She’s home now,” Chuck said.
He, however, did not give further details on what led to the altercation.
According to an affidavit obtained by The Sun, the fight allegedly started with a "rude" comment Chuck made about his fiancee. The arresting document notes how officers responded to Mikaela's residence at 4 am and determined she was the aggressor after she made a couple of conflicting statements. Nonetheless, Mikaela now looks forward to clearing her name, she told the paper.
Mikaela's famous parents, who adopted her as a child, are reportedly embarrassed and concerned about her new career move.
But making porn has helped Mikaela overcome anxiety and bipolar disorder, she told The Sun. According to her, these issues had been worsened after she was bullied for her weight and famous last name throughout her childhood.
Mikaela claimed she was groomed and abused by her a number of "predators" from a young age. Furthermore, she also claimed to have struggled with alcoholism — an addiction she says almost killed her.
