'Karens in the wild': Neighbor violently kicks apartment's door over noisy toddler
A concerned woman has made public a video of her "aggressive" neighbor, who was disturbed by the commotion her children were making and went so far as to kick her front door. The mother-of-three, who has a toddler and an adolescent among her three children, claims that she was at work when the neighbor visited her apartment twice; both visits were captured on the family's ring camera.
The middle-aged lady can be seen knocking on the front door before the children respond in the video that was uploaded to TikTok on March 21. “Hey I just have a really nice question to ask you guys, I’m downstairs with my neighbour, we’re trying to visit, [and] all morning long all we’re hearing is...” she says politely before stomping her feet repeatedly on the floor. “Can you keep it quiet, please, thank you,” she adds before storming off.

'If you thought that was funny, it wasn’t'
But when she comes back later that day, she is furious and noisily knocks on the door. “If you thought that was funny, it wasn’t,” she yells through the door. “If you want us to call the cops and report you for noise because this goes on 24/7, that’s what we’ll do.”
But this time, the mother-of-three, known as beccalaluvlii on TikTok, is prepared and responds to the lady through the ring camera's speaker. "I have a toddler, you can call the police all you like,” she says, “because you guys bang on my ceilings all the time. So go ahead and call the police but we can report it right back.” The neighbor then violently kicks the home's door five times.
“Go right ahead, go right ahead,” she screams before starting to walk away before coming back. “We have the right to live in a peaceful community and you're up here banging around 24/7.” The mother can be heard informing her as she departs for the last time, “if you don’t like it, buy a house, go live in an apartment downstairs.”
Since March 21, the video has received 7.2 million views. The mother reveals in the post that she was at work while her children were at home. “This b***h decided to come back and get aggressive once she figured out it was just kids home,” she wrote. “Karens in the wild, y’all.”
'I’m so mad for you'
Users on TikTok were quick to take the mother’s side. “Geeez I’m so mad for you!!” one user wrote. “Report her for damaging your door,” another said. “It’s a toddler, how do you think the toddler is gonna be more quiet?” someone else commented. “This thing is common in apartments. You should know this when you apply.” While others commented they could “see both sides”. “You have to be considerate of each other and the people around you,” one person wrote. “I have a two story house and what people don’t understand is it literally sounds like a herd of elephants with my kids and husband simply walking,” added another.
