As the bride came down the aisle, the couple's backyard wedding was 'ruined' when their neighbor began mowing the lawn. The neighbor's antics were filmed in a viral video, which has since stirred anger online. The bride's walk down the aisle was interrupted by the loud sound of a lawn mower from her neighbor across the street, according to a video shared on TikTok on June 11 by user @vampyyric.  A wedding guest captured the moment the furious neighbor started mowing her lawn on video, which has already received over 371.8k views. The TikTok user wrote in the video, “The second the bride’s song came on and she walked down the aisle [sic] this Karen decided to PURPOSELY mow her lawn and yell at us to ruin the wedding. She continued through the entire wedding and we could not hear the vows etc.”

In the comments section, the wedding guest emphasized that they begged the neighbor to cease mowing her lawn during the ceremony, but that ‘she was not kind’ and ‘not a friendly person at all.’ The caption of the TikTok video says, “Some people are so miserable”. Users on TikTok were angry that the woman was attempting to spoil the wedding on purpose, and turned to the comments area to express their disgust for the enraged neighbor.

One person expressed his fury by saying, “The amount of rage I have right now.” “Now I’d be committed to randomly ringing her doorbell at 3 am at least once a week for eternity,” another person joked. Someone else remarked, “Hope you had a huge celebration and blasted the tunes to the wee hours. Congrats beautiful bride.” One reader wondered if the couple had an ‘ongoing fight’ with their next-door neighbor, which drove her to disrupt the wedding, but the TikTok user clarified that there was no bad blood prior to the wedding.

While the bulk of the responses was negative of the woman's unneighbourly behavior, others sympathized with her viewpoint. One TikTok user explained, “That’s something you have to accept when you don’t pay for a venue though. It’s her property, she didn’t agree to a wedding.” “Why were you getting married right outside her house though?” someone else added. “Her house, her property. She can do what she wants to it,” yet another person remarked.
