It seems Kanye West is serious about his 2020 White House run and actually wants to be the president of America. Sharing a tweet recently, which read: “THE GOAL IS TO WIN”, the 43-year-old appeared to clarify that his presidential bid is not just to hurt the presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden but “to win”. He also shared his "2020 Vision" board on Twitter.

West’s presidential campaign has faced a lot of scrutiny in the past few days after reports claimed that Republican political operatives who work for President Donald Trump are helping the ‘Jesus is King’ singer in getting on some states' ballots so that he would take away the votes that might go to Biden in November. An article from Vice.com also claimed that GOP strategist Lane Ruhland, who is working for Trump’s campaign, has helped West get on the ballot in Wisconsin.

The article was shared by Cameron Joseph of Vice News with a caption that read: “A little update — The GOP lawyer who helped @kanyewest get on the ballot in Wisconsin is actively working for @realDonaldTrump 's campaign. She's the lawyer of record in their lawsuit to try to get a @prioritiesUSA anti-Trump ad pulled.” John Legend re-shared that tweet and wrote, “Just in case anyone needs some clarity around what's happening here.” The 41-year-old singer-songwriter also called out the people who plan to vote for West as he wrote: “Anyway…. Anyone reckless and/or misinformed enough to fall for the okey doke probably wasn't voting for Biden (or voting at all).”

Though in an interview with Forbes, West indicated that he was running to play spoiler for Biden. When asked by the editor of Forbes Magazine, Randall Lane, if he was trying to scuttle the 77-year-old's White House chances, the ‘I Love It’ singer responded: “I’m not denying it, I just told you."

Earlier, Trump reportedly refuted speculations that Republicans are trying to help West in his election campaign. During a White House press briefing when a reporter said “at least two people connected to Kanye West’s effort to get on the ballot have been connected to the Republican Party,” the POTUS replied he had no idea about it. "No, I don’t have anything to do with him getting on the ballot. We’ll have to see what happens. We’ll see if he gets on the ballot but I’m not involved,” he said.

But he definitely did not shy from gushing about West and his 39-year-old wife Kim Kardashian. Trump said: “I like him. He’s always been very nice to me. I like his wife. His wife recommended certain people – as you know for, including Alice Johnson who’s a remarkable woman – but his wife recommended certain people to get out of prison. They were in prison for a long time, a long, long time. It should have never happened. I took what she said very strong…Kim Kardashian. And she’s got a good heart, very good heart. And I like Kanye very much.”
