'He refuses to stop': Kanye West named 'Antisemite of the Year' by Jewish rights group StopAntisemitism
HIDDEN HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Antisemitism watchdog organization StopAntisemitism reportedly named Kanye West "Antisemite of the Year" on Sunday, December 11, 2022. The organization tweeted a video announcing the title they have bestowed on the 'Praise God' rapper. The video has also listed the number of blunders the rapper has made during the year.
The 'Donda' hitmaker has been identified by the watchdog group as the most problematic person of 2022 in terms of the organization's mission after the rapper received 10,000 online votes from members. "Kanye West's threats of violence, hateful conduct, and hate speech all led him to winning this year's title," the video reads, as reported by TMZ.

Liora Rez, SA's Executive Director, Told TMZ, "Kanye uses his celebrity platform to push dangerous antisemitic tropes about Jews and power and he refuses to stop. His continuous onslaught of bigoted statements has resulted in horrific antisemitic acts perpetrated by white supremacists, Black Hebrew Israelites, and other fringe groups looking to cause Jews harm." She continued, "Jew-hatred is already out of control in the United States and the last thing we need is a celebrity like Kanye to add fuel to that fire.”
Kanye West is 'Antisemite of the Year'
Kanye won the "Antisemite of the Year" title due to his recent remarks about the Holocaust and Jewish people. A few days after Kanye declared he was "going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE," a crew member was seen erecting a billboard that read, "Kanye is right about the Jews," above a freeway in Los Angeles. Kanye quickly confessed to Piers Morgan that he only wanted to punish Jews who had offended him in his music and business affairs.
The video closed by playing a clip from Kanye's interview with Alex Jones in which he claimed to appreciate Hitler and see "good things about him." Jones, a prominent political figure on the alt-right, even rebutted several of his claims during the interview. "I've done a lot of study. I think Hitler was a really bad guy and I repudiate what Hitler did..." he said.

Additionally, Kanye came under fire for dining at Mar-a-Lago in November with former president Donald Trump and well-known Holocaust denier and White supremacist Nick Fuentes. Anti-Defamation League (ADL) CEO Jonathan Greenblatt expressed his concerns about the dinner at the time on Twitter, writing, "Former President Trump's dinner with antisemites Ye and Nick Fuentes underscores the ugly normalization of extremist beliefs-including antisemitism, racism, and other forms of bigotry."
Following Kanye's interview with Jones, President Joe Biden tweeted, "I just want to make a few things clear: The Holocaust happened. Hitler was a demonic figure. And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides. Silence is complicity."
I just want to make a few things clear:

The Holocaust happened.
Hitler was a demonic figure.
And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides.
Silence is complicity.
