'Going Seventeen 2021' Episode 1 leaked: Will official release be delayed? Carats demand video be deleted

‘Going Seventeen’ has successfully released four seasons and the episode numbers increased with the show gaining more momentum. ‘Going Seventeen 2020’ consisted of 47 episodes

Prior to the official release of Going Seventeen 2021’s first episode, Seventeen's fans noticed that the video has been leaked from a YouTube channel and this makes fans worry that the official release may get delayed now. Along with urging viewers not to live stream the video, carats as Seventeen fans are called are also trying to report and ensure that the video is taken down.

‘Going Seventeen’ is the variety show for the popular K-pop supergroup Seventeen and it started in 2017. Since then, the series has successfully released four seasons and the episode numbers increased with the show gaining more momentum. ‘Going Seventeen 2020’ consisted of 47 episodes.

Will the official release of the series 'Going Seventeen' be delayed due to the leak?

'Going Seventeen 2021' was supposed to be released on March 3, 2021, which was postponed by Pledis Entertainment when the agency noted that they will release a different schedule of the show. After 2020's biggest run of the series which ended on January 18, 2021, rounding up the 47th episode, fans are really looking forward to the next season. With Seventeen's Mingyu being accused of bullying, fans were also worried if the K-pop star will be seen in the variety show. Though there is no official confirmation of the further delay as of yet for 'Going Seventeen 2021, fans believe that the leak will only be the reason for its further postponement. 

Fans have taken it to Twitter to raise their concern. A fan said, "That gose ep got leaked 3 weeks ago on bilibili (when they announced about gose's cancellation) but kcarats and ccarats handled the situation well but someone posted it on youtube so.. its hard to handle it now!" Another said, "The leaked video is already taken down, if you see anyone spreading clips about it please report the post. I know we all want gose since we've been waiting for it for so long but it's better to wait for the official release than refer to a leaked video. let's be patient please!!" Another said, "I swear to god, i am THIRSTY of gose. so if gose get postponed again bc of this, i am gonna snap."
