LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Apple TV+ show 'Ted Lasso' has changed the dynamic of cinema and has also turned lives around for many. One of the many examples is of Keeley Hazell, who worked through her trauma of having a leaked sex tape. Living through the trauma of having a private sex tape leaked, Keeley worked on it by co-writing an episode of the show 'Ted Lasso' last week. Hazell co-wrote an episode of the show, where she addressed the issue of her sex tape's release. In the show, Keeley Jones (Juno Temple), the lead character, discovers that a video she filmed for an ex-boyfriend has been published online.

The episode addresses how one feels when a personal sex video is leaked and the emotions that arise. The storyline emphasizes Keeley's panic attack as a trail of overthinking begins, causing her to fear her family and colleagues viewing the footage. The series also shows the fictional AFC Richmond players discussing the issue and eventually deciding not to watch the video, thus supporting Keeley’s quandary. Keeley, the chief publicist for AFC Richmond, refuses to issue an apology regarding the video.

Healing from the trauma

After the episode was filmed and released, people found it quite empowering. A source close to the show made a statement about the episode, saying, "It was written as an empowering storyline and Keeley Hazell was very passionate about ensuring that it was presented properly. It is wonderful that all of these years later she was able to use her torrid experience for some good and to shine a light on the issue which can be so devastating for so many people," according to Daily Mail.

Keeley Hazell rose to fame after she won The Sun newspaper's Page 3 Idol competition. However, as it goes in the industry, her fame wasn't long-lived and was marred by the sex tape leak in 2007. The model obtained a ruling on the base of privacy which prevented the video to be futher circulated and promoted.

'I feel I have no dignity left'

Talking about the time Hazell realized that the images from her sex tape had been released, Keeley said, "I just burst into tears when I saw the images staring back at me. We had taken a video camera on holiday with us to Tenerife last summer. We were both feeling relaxed after a couple of drinks and it just happened. I have turned down offers to do Playboy covers because there were certain things I simply didn't want others to see. Now I feel I have no dignity left." Finally, it was reported that Keeley Hazell was dating co-star Jason Sudeikis, the lead star of 'Ted Lasso'.
