Julia Wandelt, who claims to be Madeleine McCann, is 'happy to have family' with Dr Fia Johansson
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A young woman, who recently went viral for her insistence that she is the missing Madeleine McCann, is now said to be happy to find a family to call her own. As per Julia Wendelt's claims, she is the British girl who vanished from a Portugal holiday home in May 2007 at the age of three. Through her now-removed Instagram account, @iammadeleinemccann, she also claimed that her supposed family in Poland was not her own.
Currently, the 21-year-old has been living in the US after flying from Poland, The Daily Star reported. She went to the States after allegedly getting death threats for her claims. Julia has been living with a self-proclaimed psychic and private detective, Dr Fia Johansson, who regularly shares updates about her.

‘My kids and my dogs love her’
On March 14, she reportedly posted on her Instagram Story, “She said this is the first time she feels she has a family that cares. My kids and my dogs love her angelic personality.” In another share, she noted, “Blessings come at you from all directions. You never know who or what will unexpectedly make your life better.”
Dr Johansson also added, “Sometimes the bad things that happen in your lives put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen with us.” This comes as the psychic spoke with RadarOnline and revealed that Julia has given samples for several forensic tests that will find out her origin.
‘Julia was definitely trafficked to Poland’
She told the publication, “If the results come back that she’s British or from that area then we are going to continue our investigation into Madeleine McCann and communicate with the detectives in Portugal. We have a lot of evidence right now that shows Julia was definitely trafficked to Poland from another country by an international sex trafficking group.”
“We are still conducting an investigation but Julia is definitely not the biological daughter of her parents in Poland. We are just waiting for science to show exactly where she’s from,” the detective asserted.
'US police are taking her case seriously'
Referring to the trolling and threats against Julia, Dr Johansson had previously said they have made a complaint “with law enforcement taking into account all the threats made online, documenting every account and individual associated with disseminating threats and falsehoods regarding Julia's case and status."
“We've shared every email and social media account that's communicated directly with Julia, not threatening or attempting to lie about their connection to her family/Madeleine's family in order to lure her to their country,” she added.
She further continued, “As with threats of this magnitude, US police are taking her case seriously and looking into all information/accounts with caution and deep concern. Julia is safe and she is happy. She wants to say thank you to everyone that has shown her compassion, understanding, and support since this all began. Having the police involved in her case now is good news. We also will share some positive updates shortly. Thank you all for your care and positive thoughts for Julia!”
