Julia Wandelt, who claims to be Madeleine McCann, records her first US TV interview with Dr Phil
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A Polish woman who claims to be the missing British child Madeleine McCann recently spoke with renowned TV host Dr Phil for her first high-profile US interview. Julia Wandelt, 21, also goes by two other surnames — Faustyna and Wendell — has been in the news for her sensational claims which she wants to verify through a DNA test. Madeleine McCann was only three years old when she vanished while on a holiday getaway with her family in Portugal in 2007. Julia Wandelt has already submitted three DNA samples and is waiting for the outcomes of the genetic testing.
After Julia deleted her Instagram account, updates about the developments in her case are being released on Dr Fia Johansson's Instagram. Johansson is a private investigator, and self-proclaimed medium and psychic who is assisting Julia in her quest to discover her true identity. She stated on March 24 that Julia would share her tale with Dr. Phil in front of millions of viewers in North America.

She also provided a sample clip of the Canadian television program's preview that will soon air Julia's story. In the clip, Julia says: "I believe that I am Madeleine McCann. We are waiting for the results."
Is Madeleine McCann's parents' DNA required?
Dr Johansson appeared confident in using the DNA test findings to determine her parentage during an earlier Instagram Live, which lasted for around 40 minutes. She said, "A lot of you ask why Kate and Gerry (are not involved)." She further added, "There is no need – Madeleine McCann's DNA is already there. "They don't need to get involved with media press."
At last, she said, "When the DNA test comes, which I am really badly waiting for — checking every day for the status — we will match with a DNA test of (Madeleine) McCann. [Or] anyone else out there, looking for their kid that may [have gone] missing at that time," as reported by Dailystar.
Julia has apparently been in the US for the past few weeks, while the DNA tests were being conducted, and staying with Dr Johansson. Due to concerns about their safety, Dr Johansson has withheld their precise whereabouts.
