'Maybe not Madeleine McCann': Julia Wandelt 'admits' she is not missing girl as Polish police rule out claims
LONDON, ENGLAND: Julia Wandelt, the 21-year-old Polish girl who created an Instagram account under the name 'I am Madeleine McCann' to try to prove that she was the minor who went missing in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007, reportedly admitted that she is not the missing British girl.
Despite alleged photo evidence that would indicate parallels with young Maddie including the coloboma mark that one in 10,000 children have, some moles, as well as some gestures resembling those of Kate and Jerry McCann, there were other puzzle parts that did not fit, as per la Republica.

Julia Wandelt: Polish woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann deletes her Instagram account
Thousands of people who believed in Wandelt's claims were shocked to hear her confess this Friday that she "maybe not Madeleine McCann" in a direct Instagram post she made with her representative, the medium Fia Johansson, reported The Storiest. The young Polish woman has made these reticent statements despite giving several tests that suggested she was the youngest of the McCanns. But according to both, there is "evidence" that something "very serious" has taken place in her life. This implies that it has nothing to do with Madeleine but could instead be related to another abducted girl.
What did the Polish police say?
According to Global News, who confirmed a translation from the Polish publication Gazeta, the Polish police declared that they had ruled out Faustyna, who also goes by the names Julia Wendell and Julia Wandelt and claimed to be the missing child.
Madeleine McCann would only be 19 years old, but Faustyna has asserted that she doesn't think her age is accurate. The McCann family agreed to a DNA test to determine the veracity of the woman alleging to be their missing daughter. The 21-year-old Faustyna used social media to draw attention to similarities between herself and Madeleine McCann, including dimples, a rare eye condition, and strategically positioned freckles and moles. She attracted millions of people's attention very fast. However, Instagram deleted Faustyna's accounts after the Polish authorities refuted that claim late last week. Even Faustyna's own parents have accused her of "setting up a circus," denying that their daughter is Madeleine while refusing to submit to a DNA test to prove it.
Although the officials did not clarify how they came to their conclusion, they did say that their investigation is still ongoing.
