Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez was all over the Internet on Monday, May 16, after she cross-examined Amber Heard during their latest court hearing. The loyal fans of Johnny Depp could not stop gushing about how Camille crushed Amber Heard in the court over various topics.
 
Camille Vasquez first grilled Amber Heard over Johnny Depp always wearing “big, chunky rings” as Heard had alleged that she would need to seek medical treatment for some of the alleged attacks. Camille also questioned Heard over the alleged sexual assault with a liquor bottle which the actress had earlier mentioned. Depp’s lawyer also inquired about Heard pledging to donate $3.5million to the ACLU.

While commencing her cross-examination Camille Vasquez noted that Depp has not made any eye contact with Heard since the trial began a month ago. She then played an audio clip in the court from one of the couple’s final conversations, in July 2016. In the clip, Depp can be heard saying, “You will not see my eyes again.”

Amber Heard in her direct testimony stated, “The only one who thought it was about Johnny is Johnny,” as she shed light on the opinion piece that sparked Depp’s $50-million defamation suit and Heard’s $100-million defamation countersuit. “It’s about me. It’s about what happened to me after Johnny. It’s about what happened to me after I escaped my marriage”, said Heard adding, “It’s about me and my life and what I endured once I moved on and got a TRO and moved on with my life. It was about what happened to me after. The only one who made it about him, ironically, was Johnny.”
