Man breaks into Johnny Depp's Hollywood Hills home, takes shower and fixes himself drink before his arrest
The saga of miscreants breaking and entering Johnny Depp's home continues. Another unwelcome visitor showed up in the second break-in this year at his Hollywood Hills residence. This time around, an allegedly homeless man got really comfortable, making himself at home in the actor's house.
The incident happened on Thursday, March 18, as law enforcement told TMZ that cops were called to Deep's home by a neighbor who spotted a man lounging in the backyard, near the pool. When confronted, the man tried to take off by hopping a gate which landed him even closer to Depp's house. Shortly after the police were called again, and this time it was Depp's security team alerting them that there was an intruder inside the house.

When cops reached, they found the man enjoying a shower in one of the bathrooms. When he refused to come out, cops had to kick the door down and arrest him. He had also allegedly fixed himself quite the drink from the actor's alcohol selection and was eventually booked for felony vandalism due to the damaged door in the house.
This is the second break-in of 2021 at Depp's home. Back in January, police had arrested a female intruder at the actor's house on suspicion of burglary. TMZ broke the story at the time, saying that though she managed to escape, the cops were eventually able to nab the suspect. Again, presumed to be homeless, the woman had broken into Depp's house and triggered the home's security system.
Sources believe she might have been scared by the alarm and escaped from the house before the cops arrived. However, the police were able to locate her nearby and arrest her. Although Depp wasn't home at the time, it's still unclear whether she actually managed to steal anything from his house.
Depp, who has been otherwise in the news for his ongoing legal battle with ex Amber Heard, recently made headlines after it was revealed that the actor he had sent an expletive-filled text message to his nurse in 2016 calling Heard a “f***ing whore” who he wouldn’t touch “with a Hazmat suit on."
As reported by MEAWW, the text message was shown to the court as the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star 57, launched an appeal to overthrow the 2020 High Court ruling that said the Sun had been justified in its use of the phrase “wife beater” in a 2018 article because Johnny Depp had violently assaulted his ex-wife Amber Heard during their tempestuous five-year relationship, at times putting her in "fear for her life." This had led to him to lose the libel case against the British newspaper The Sun.
Produced before the court on Thursday, March 18, the text shows him claiming Heard had lied about donating their divorce $7 million divorce settlement to a charity. “No Way she’ll give a dime to anyone!!! Thank f**k she’s gone!!! Makes me sick to think of how hard I tried to make it work... Now... Honestly, I wouldn’t touch that f***ing whore with a Hazmat suit on!!! What scum. I f***ing hate her!!!” read the alleged text message to his nurse.
