Jeremy Renner makes red carpet return with family at ‘Rennervations’ premiere 3 months after snowplow accident
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After being nearly killed by a 14,000-pound snow plow at his Lake Tahoe home three months ago, Jeremy Renner made his first red carpet appearance this week. The actor appeared at the Disney+ premiere of 'Rennervations' in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, April 11, months after fracturing more than 30 bones, wearing a navy blue suit, a matching tie, and a white collared shirt.
The 'Hawkeye' star, 52, held his gorgeous 10-year-old daughter Ava in one hand while using the other to control his cane. Renner, who is reportedly "in a lot of pain," looked wonderful and was surrounded by a large group of family and close companions to celebrate his upcoming Disney+ series 'Rennervations'.

'Overflowing with gratitude'
While using a scooter to move around the blue carpet, Renner was occasionally seen giving the photographers the thumbs up. "I'm overflowing with gratitude and excitement unlike [anything] I've felt in a very, very long time, you know?" Renner, who was accompanied by his family, told People. "Because it's not a movie that I'm promoting, It's not a show, it's my, it's my life, man, this is what I do."
The Marvel actor continued, "My breath is taken away by how honored I am that we're even here even talking about it, you know what I mean? We had people calling me crazy a good five years ago, like, 'What are you gonna do with all these trucks?' Like, 'Trust me, I've got a good idea.'"
The 'Hurt Locker' star pointed out that the red carpet event served as his "first time to kind of get out of my bed and out of rehab and, you know, to be on my feet and be out in the world. It's intense, you know, for me, it's a lot, but it's a step in the direction I want to be going, right? And this is exactly what I want to be doing and exactly where I want my life to be right now."
Renner also revealed that his 10-year-old daughter Ava played a "big part" in the design of several buses of the show. He said, "My daughter is a big part of the design on some of these, on these buses and these ideas, she's been a big part of that narrative on the show, but also in the behind-the-scenes of it all. It's great to be doing something you love to do with people you love. That, to me, is like what Heaven is. That's the greatest dessert. That's the greatest, you know, thing I'll ever do. Right? Amazing."
What happened to Jeremy Renner?
MEAWW reported earlier that Renner recently revealed details of the unfortunate incident that happened on New Year's Day and left him with many wounds. Renner had been helping his nephew, Alexander Fries, whose car was stranded in severe snow, by using a Snowcat plow. However, Renner failed to use the emergency brake when he rushed out of the car to assist, allowing the plow to careen erratically toward Fries.
Renner jumped back into the car to try to retake control, but he was unable to do so and was pulled beneath the car, incurring several injuries. The actor had a collapsed lung and a shattered rib that perforated his liver. The incident served as a terrifying reminder of the risks that can result from careless actions, and Renner's bravery and fortitude under pressure are genuinely admirable.
In the three months following the event, Renner has kept fans updated on his progress, first revealing that he was back on his feet last month by releasing a video of himself on a treadmill.
