Grayson Benson FOUND! Amber alert canceled as 6-month-old boy and mom rescued from knife-wielding ex-BF
DARTMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS: Police canceled Amber Alert for a 6-month-old boy who was abducted by her mother's ex-boyfriend. The mother and her child were found after they were kidnapped on Thursday, Dec 1 from their home in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, by the mother's ex-boyfriend who was carrying a knife, according to Massachusetts State Police. Grayson Benson and his mother Hannah Benson, 23, were abducted by Jeremias Cabral, prompting police to issue an alert.
According to state police, their early findings suggest Cabral broke into the victim's apartment on Tucker Road in Dartmouth around 11.20 am on Thursday. He brandished a knife during the altercation, took the child, and left the apartment for his car. Benson reportedly out of fear for her child's safety followed Cabral and got in the car herself before he drove away.

"All parties have been located at an address in Fall River. Suspect Jeremias Cabral is in custody. The mother and child are also with the police and their well-being is being evaluated," the Massachusetts State Police. posted on Facebook. Earlier while sounding an AMBER alert, the police had suggested that the victims could be in a dark Mitsubishi sedan. "We have activated an AMBER Alert for 6-month-old male GRAYSON BENSON, who was abducted along with his mother, HANNAH BENSON, 23, by JEREMIAS CABRAL, 21, in Dartmouth. They may be in a dark Mitsubishi sedan w/MA plate 2LPT35. If seen call 911 immediately," the department tweeted.

Soon after the alert, the police announced that they had located the vehicle but not the mother-son duo. "We have located the vehicle. We are still seeking to locate the victims and the suspect," they tweeted. The alert found people wishing to keep their eyes open to find the suspect some prayed while others wrote that the accused be arrested soon."They better find the mom & baby safe and sound. If not that will raise further suspicion."

A while after police tweeted that the suspect has been arrested, may heave a sigh of relief."The AMBER Alert is deactivated. All parties have been located at an address in Fall River. Suspect JEREMIAS CABRAL is in custody. The mother and child are also with the police and their well-being is being evaluated," the police tweeted. "Thank god," wrote one, "I do love a happy ending", wrote another. The reports quoting investigators said that they were not yet sure if Cabral was the father of the child.
