MOSCOW, IDAHO: Internet sleuths have come up with some "new information" on social media. According to them, "there was a window without a screen" in the house where the four University of Idaho students, Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Madison Mogen, 21, were tragically killed. One such user claimed on Reddit that there was a TikTok video posted by either Goncalves or Mogen that showed a "window without a screen and that never locked because it was broken."

The user wrote, “At the beginning of this case I saw a TikTik video that I think has since been removed. I can’t remember who posted it… I think it was Kaylee but could’ve been Maddie. The video was touring through the house, showing their storage room laundry room, etc., etc… but one very important detail they showed in the video was that there was a window without a screen that never locked because it was broken. I watched this video more than once. I think it has since been taken down as I have been trying to find it again and I can’t. Does anyone else here remember seeing this video on TikTok? I can’t be the only one who remembers this… it was literally up there last week. It could be very relevant.”

“Yes I saw that video too! Now that you mention it I saw it but it is gone now. I wonder if they took it off to examine everyone who watched it and didn’t want more views on it,” another user added. Someone else noted, “Because in the video (since removed) she literally says… ‘and here is our window that doesn’t have a screen and never locks because it is broken.’” “It might have been Dylan that posted it… I can’t remember… but I believe she shut down all her social media… maybe that is why the video is missing now,” another user added. “Crazy you brought this up because I do 100% remember this video now!” yet another user remarked.

Another person wrote, “If this is an accurate theory (the window entry) then I rule out the boyfriend completely. He had the door code-he knew how to get in, his dog was in the house...Kaylee invited him over via text(hearsay)-he wouldn’t need to break in. I think the window plays an important role in determining the assailant.” “I don’t think so. I think the killer knew the victims and vice versa and the killer may even be invited by the victims. He may have left from somewhere else after killing them. But I strongly feel, the victims invited the killer and that’s why he was there,” another user argued.

Meanwhile, police are yet to locate the suspect(s) and the murder weapon. Police are trying to gather leads through the CCTV footage gathered and they request locals to share any information they might have. As per NBC News, Moscow Police Department Chief James Fry said earlier during a press conference, "Anyone who has observed any notable behavior or has any video surveillance or can provide relevant information about these murders please call our tip line.”
