Sick couple who kidnapped girl, 7, to assault before throwing her out from second-floor window arrested
KURILSK, RUSSIA: A Russian woman named Veronika Khomchuk, 46, has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a seven-year-old girl so her boyfriend could rape the child. Khomchuk faces charges for abducting the unnamed child and giving it to her boyfriend Andrey Komaritsky, 46. Komaritsky faces charges of rape and attempted murder for his plot of throwing the girl out of a second-floor window in an attempt to kill her after rape.
The incident occurred on August 26 in remote Russia. The seven-year-old was airlifted by helicopter to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the capital of the Sakhalin region, in critical condition, where she is fighting for her life. Komaritsky faces rape and attempted murder charges. According to local media, he previously served time in prison for another rape.

According to the local reports, Khomchuk allegedly lured the child into her false premises on Friday, August 26, Komsomolskaya Pravda, a daily Russian tabloid, reported. “It is really hard to find words for what happened,” wrote the newspaper. “Veronika chose the victim at a playground for the pervert. When it was over, the animal of the man threw the child out of the window", the newspaper wrote.

This incident comes after an eight-year-old girl was abducted in the same region before being raped and murdered in 2020. Vika Teplyakova had fled her home after a fight and was abducted by married couple Igor Dvornikov and Kristina Dvornikov, who drove her to a remote forest and raped and strangled her with a plastic bag.
Dvornikov was sentenced to life in prison, and Kristina to 15 years. Vika was seen walking alone on Sakhalin island in a T-shirt and blue shorts, on her way to see friends after a row with her parents. Over 500 volunteers helped in the search for Vika, but she had been missing for three days before Dvornikova admitted to police that she and her husband had given the girl a ride.
