Cartwright said she felt forced to move out because Jax refused to leave their shared home, which created a toxic environment, especially for their 3-year-old son, Cruz. She explained to her friends that staying in such a situation was not healthy for her or Cruz. She said, "I knew that he wasn’t gonna leave, so I had to leave; it was too toxic of a situation, especially for my son."
One major issue was Jax's partying and his behavior when he was hungover. Brittany described how Jax would come home from the bar, have terrible hangovers, and then act very aggressively towards her.
