Planning to rent Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's Washington, DC home will be an expensive affair. With the couple now moving to Florida, their former house is in search of new tenants and is available for lease for $18,000 a month. A realtor report states the recently-renovated home comprises six beds and 6.5 baths along with what it says "all kinds of style points." The house is described as "one of the most well-known and photographed houses on the planet—given its recent tenants."

According to the site, the home was also the center place for vigils and protests during former President Donald Trump's administration. One such example was the protest that unfolded in front of the plush home after Trump rolled out his immigration policies. Last week, packers were loading up trucks outside the Washington residence.

A team of packers was present as it appeared the couple was moving for their relocation to Miami. There was no sign of the duo though as the team was hard at work carrying boxes and furniture out of the house located in the Kalorama neighborhood. This update comes after Ivanka confirmed she was leaving Washington in the form of a farewell message on Twitter. The listing provides some details as to what to expect. "Meticulously maintained by the landlord and former notable tenants," is one of the descriptions.

Although the price might come across as pretty steep, the Washingtonian says the former inhabitants got this house for a steal. According to CNN, the oceanfront condo in a Miami building the couple has moved into, sees rents climb up to $40,000 a month. The place they will be moving to is in close proximity to the land they purchased in December for $32 million on the exclusive Indian Creek Island, also in Miami.

So much care was taken of the DC home that bathrooms in the house were off-limits for the secret service detail assigned to the couple. Washington Post says they had rented a nearby studio for $3,000 a month — which ended up totaling more than $100,000 over the years. Those looking to invest have a piece of information they need about the house starting with the crown moldings, wooden floorboards, and the lighting. It also included electrical updates.

The realtor also states the area is where the political biggies reside and there are chances of glimpsing former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama. Meanwhile, Tiffany Trump was keen on buying a condo or a house in Miami's South Beach that is known for its exuberant nightlife. Although she has been reportedly staying in the same area for a while now with her boyfriend, Michael Boulos, she's looking for properties with him.

Trump also signed a memorandum extending secret service protection for six months for all his children. CNN had previously said that Mar-a-Lago was not a feasible place for the Kushners. Watch this space for updates as we'll keep you posted on information about the new tenants as soon as there's an update.
