'It's a known party spot': Taxi driver claims Idaho murder house was near a drug distribution point
MEXICO, IDAHO: A taxi driver revealed that the house where the murder took place is a “known party spot,” while adding “that’s where people go to get drugs.” Just days after the murders, reporters heard loud revelers next door to the home where detectives are still looking for leads.
“I used to drive people there all of the time, its a known party spot. Everyone knows that’s where people go to get drugs,” the taxi driver told Idaho Tribune. A law student named Jeremy Reagan who lives next door to the crime scene told Fox News that the victims regularly had gatherings and noted that people entered and exited the house "pretty frequently." “There were parties that were kind of loud,” says Reagan.

“As I would take my dog in and out to go to the bathroom [and] I would see people in the windows almost every night, probably four or five nights a week ... it was kind of a party house but then again this whole neighbourhood is a party neighbourhood.”
As a result, there might be dozens or even hundreds of DNA samples from earlier gatherings, which might make forensic detectives' duties more challenging. Many photos of the victims on the murder day have been recently surfaced where they were seen posing with many of their friends in a party together.
Jim Clemente, a retired FBI agent, said he didn't think the attack was random and called the murderer "sloppy and juvenile." Speaking to Fox News, he said, "It just seems like a targeted event. I think it was building up in him for a while, and he just lashed out." Now all eyes are on the toxicology report if they were under the influence of any drugs or were slipped something at the party that incapacitated them. Forensic pathologist Dr Michael Baden reportedly said the toxicology report held vital clues and could help investigators determine if the victims were knocked out by date-rape-type drugs.
The victims of this grisly murder is identified as Ethan Chapin, 20, of Conway, Washington; Madison Mogen, 21, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Xana Kernodle, 20, of Avondale, Arizona; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, of Rathdrum, Idaho.
