Is Steven Assanti OK?
The rumor that Steven had died may have originated on his Instagram account. His Instagram account was used as a source in an All About the Tea post about his demise. According to All About the Tea, Steven's account sent the following statement on February 11, 2023: "Steven Assanti has passed away yesterday his heart gave out. We aak [sic: ask] that you please respect the privacy of his family. Thank you ."
Starcasm spotted a screenshot of this post from the account @stevenjassanti, which has since been removed, circulating around Facebook for many days. There are several possibilities for the source of this post. It might have been shared on @stevenjassanti by Steven Assanti or someone connected to Steven Assanti before the account was removed, or it could have been a bogus Instagram post. In any case, the post is presently unavailable on Instagram.
Steven Assanti's most recent Instagram post is from November 11, 2022, while his lone TikTok post is from October 10, 2021.
Steven's plea for help in now-deleted posts
In a since-deleted Instagram post, a distraught Steven told his 3K followers that it was "Urgent" and that he needed aid before begging for some fast cash. The former 'My 600-lb Life' star added a video to his post to clarify that he wasn't simply begging for handouts. He was eager to work for money (sort of). He was simply in dire need of assistance. He stated that he had lately relocated to a new flat. And he was in desperate need of aid if anyone could find it in their hearts to assist him. He went on to say that he had a Cameo profile and was eager to shoot movies doing anything (for no reason) in exchange for $25 compensation. Steven did not say if he needed the money to pay bills or equip his new flat in the video. Only that he was in "urgent" need of some assistance from his fans. The TLC star has chosen to keep his Instagram comments disabled. As a result, his 3K followers were unable to comment on this post.
Steven's frantic pleas for money from admirers of 'My 600-lb Life' come just days after he informed his followers in yet another deleted post that his journey was nearly over because he was dying. Steven sought to support his claims that he was dying by sending a snapshot of a paper confirming his heart failure diagnosis. The picture, on the other hand, was only a piece of paper doctors send out to explain what a heart failure diagnosis entails. There was nothing in the snapshot to substantiate the papers and diagnosis that Steven received. He stressed in the caption of his post, though, that it was not the type of thing he would lie to people about.
Steven fought his way through the show, losing almost 100 pounds. Many people struggle with totally changing their living patterns, and Season 5's Steven Assanti is no exception.
