Is Kroy Bierman OK? Internet slams former 'RHOA' star Kim Zolciak for clickbait post
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Fans need not worry, Kroy Biermann is still alive. What's on Kim Zolciak's Instagram feed is merely clickbait.
The 45-year-old former cast member of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' misled her admirers into thinking her ex-husband Kroy had gone dead. Kim posted a black-and-white picture of herself and Troy on Instagram on April 23, along with the message, "#RIP #LinkInBio."
Fans assumed right away that Kroy had passed away and that more information about his passing could be found at the link in the bio. That being said, neither is accurate.
Kim's bio had a link that sent readers to the Celebuzz website, where they could read a February 2023 article about celebrities who had already died that year. "They’ll Be Missed! Celebrities We’ll Remember in 2023," the title said.
Reposting the picture, X fans asked, "RIP? The marriage or the show?" Another user chimed in, "She’s been doing so many icky things to get people to “click the link in her bio” I’m assuming she gets paid for the clicks or something but it’s such a weird way to try and make money ?!"

One fan observed, "She’s so broke for this." A fourth user sighed, "Even for her this is a new low."
Some 'RHOA' fans believe, "She wants her peach back so bad." While others snarked, "I think she needed a quick cash injection."
Kim has a history of posting phony clickbait items on Instagram. In the past, she misled her admirers into thinking that her daughter was expecting a child.
TMZ asserts that Kim is "getting a financial kickback from the clickbait article" and that this whole thing was a plot to "make a quick buck." It seems that the website to which she provided a link is probably paying her a portion of the advertising income from each click that she generates for the link.
Kim Zolciak promotes lavish giveaway asking followers to enter for a chance to win $1,000 in Chanel or cash
On April 22, Kim urged her Instagram fans to participate in an extravagant contest for a chance to win $1,000 in cash or Chanel products. The 45-year-old reality personality stood in front of many Louis Vuitton and French fashion house shopping bags in her picture.
She sat atop her green Mercedes G Wagon for the photo session, wearing a tight black dress and her long blonde hair styled in waves. "I couldn’t be happier to be bringing you this chance and am so excited to be giving back to my amazing Insta Fam!" she wrote alongside the image.
"This opportunity is open worldwide. Ends May 6th!"
Kim talked about "fast cars and freedom" on social media on Monday as she was out conducting errands. The Bravo personality, who has 6.3 million social media followers, may have been alluding to the same-titled Rascal Flatts song from 2005.
Kroy Biermann claimed Kim Zolciak spent more than $600,000 between 2016 to 2023
Following claims by her former spouse, Kroy, that she spent over $600,000 at Chanel, Versace, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Agent Provocateur between 2016 and 2023, Kim recently shared a giveaway post. Earlier this month, Kroy claimed in a financial report submitted to the court as part of their protracted divorce that Kim spent $161,912.87 in 2021 and an extra $65,966.95 in 2022 on Bitcoin and the lottery.
In response to Kim's move to force the production of financial information, Kroy filed a rebuttal. He also contested her pleas for privacy, pointing out that she had posted about everything from Botox treatments to vaginal rejuvenation on social media. He also claimed in the petition that Kim was keeping money in a different bank account.
Brielle Zolciak's Range Rover is repossessed despite Kim Zolciak's best efforts
Kim's post was made five days after, according to TMZ, a court gave Ally Bank permission to seize her and her oldest daughter Brielle Karenna Biermann's 2019 Range Rover because they had fallen behind on over $83K in payments. The 27-year-old influencer and her fiancé, Chicago White Sox pitcher Billy Seidl, shared a video of their bizarre experience in Arizona last month when they rode in a driverless Waymo cab.
Additionally, according to TMZ, a court in November authorized BMW to seize a 2020 Rolls-Royce that belonged to Kim's former second husband Kroy because he had neglected to pay $190,000 in arrears.
Along with owing money to the IRS, credit card companies, and banks, the couple is in and out of divorce court and has defaulted on the mortgage of their $880K, five-bedroom property in Alpharetta, Georgia.
