A master hunter and tracker, Kraven was and still is one of Earth's best hunters. He possesses astonishing tracking abilities and is even able to track Spider-Man across rooftops. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the man playing Kraven in the latest comic turned movie, took a minute to speak about his role during the unveiling of a 15-minute preview of the film. He stated how he thinks of Kraven as "one of Marvel’s most iconic, notorious anti-heroes — Spider Man’s number one rival."

He continued, "He’s not an alien, or a wizard. He’s just a hunter, a human with conviction. An animal lover and a protector of the natural world. He’s a very, very cool character." We know that the only thing Kraven is worried about is his hunt and there is nothing more important than proving himself to be the world’s greatest predator.

Kraven has been a big part of Spider-Man's past in the comic books and looks to be a big part of his future in the movies. Sony's 'Spider-Man' Universe is going forward as the studio continues to bring in more villains from Peter Parker's comics rogues gallery. After having portrayed Quicksilver in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', Taylor-Johnson is currently shooting his own Marvel character-focused film, bringing Sergei Kravinoff into the world of live-action for the first time in a project directed by JC Chandor.

Fans are equally excited for the new release as they are eagerly waiting to see if the studio does justice to the character on screen. One fan tweeted, "I grew up with #epilepsy & I remember once waking up in the hospital from a seizure. My parents got me a comic to make me feel better. It was #KRAVEN: LAST HUNT. It helped forget the pain and boredom. So I hope they do justice to the character on screen", while another added, "Will Sony Ever Make A Good Spider-Man Universe Movie? Sony Is Making Spider-Man’s Kraven The Hunter Into Kraven The Animal Lover".

'Kraven The Hunter' is scheduled to be released on January 13, 2023.
