MOSCOW, IDAHO: Two weeks after discovering the chilling murder of four University of Idaho students, the police are yet to name any possible suspect, a murder weapon, or a promising lead. Kaylee Goncalves, 21, her roommates Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Xana's boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, 20, were murdered at their home in Idaho on November 13. With no development in the case, a private detective has claimed that the person behind these killings is a "copy cat serial killer" and is very much like Ted Bundy. The PI also believes that the killer was responsible for two other deaths.

Bill Warner, hailing from Sarasota, Florida, believes that the killer targeted one female victim in particular - Kaylee - and gained easy access to the house through the rear unlocked slider of the Idaho house. Warner believes that everyone else was killed because the killer found them during its rampage, comparing the killer to the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy. Warner told The Sun, "As far as I can ascertain, there is no link to any boyfriend of the three girl college students. Cops have ruled out all male acquaintances. Appears to be a stalker targeted one of the girls, most likely Kaylee. The stalker/serial killer knew where [Kaylee] lived and found easy access through a rear unlocked slider to the house and then went about killing anyone he found during his rampage. All of this appears to done by a power/control serial killer much like serial killer Ted Bundy during his rampage in the 1970s, a current day copy cat serial killer."

As per Warner, the killer responsible for the Idaho massacre is also behind two unsolved murders - one in Oregon and one in Washington. Both were knife attacks and happened within 70 miles of each other. Travis and Jamilyn Juetten, from Salem, Oregon, were stabbed in the middle of the night with a long knife on August 31, 2021. Travis, 24, died while protecting his wife Jamilyn, 24, who survived 19 stab wounds. The other case was of Sandra Ladd, 71, who was discovered with multiple stab wounds in her torso on June 12, 2020, at her Washougal house in Washington.

PI compares Idaho murderer to Ted Bundy

Previously, legal analyst Nancy Grace has also compared the incident to a Ted Bundy scene. Now, Warner explains, "Current trail of unsolved murders in Washington, Oregon, and Moscow Idaho mimics trail of murders committed by serial killer Ted Bundy in 1970s." He listed the three states where the killings took place and said, "appears to have started his murder spree in Feb 1974 in Washington, then May 1974 in Oregon and then May 1975 in Idaho and then many, many more, he was just getting started."

According to Warner, the killer is headed to Colorado. He said, "No coincidence when the same exact geographic path used by serial killer Ted Bundy in 1970s mimicked by current copy cat serial killer murders in Washington, Oregon and the case in Moscow Idaho, three for three. Rage is indicated in all of the murders, this guy will strike again, he is on the road to Colorado if he follows Ted Bundy's playbook."
