MOSCOW, IDAHO: After a new video released by the Moscow Police department showing authorities responding to a noise complaint at the slain University of Idaho student's house, web sleuths have raised suspicions surrounding the alarming complaints. In the bodycam footage from September, one of the victims, Madison Mogen, appears to be responding to the officers at the same house the students were found dead, two months later. While no arrests were made, Mogen was given a warning to keep the music down.

Another video, also from September, shows police arrive at the house and speak with Xana Kernodle. In the bodycam footage, officers inform Kernodle that this is their second visit to the residence and caution her against allowing a couple to continue playing music on her back porch. The bodies of Ethan Chapin, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Mogen, 21 were found brutally stabbed to death in their off-campus housing unit on November 13 around 3 and 4 am. Dr Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist, revealed that neighbors had heard screams from the house of the victims around the time of the killings. However, Baden added that it is not confirmed if this actually pertains to the time of the murders.

With the killer on the loose and fear gripping the tight-knit community, Internet sleuths are trying to decipher the University of Idaho students murder. One Reddit user questioned, "Wondering if only this house had this many noise complaints or were there frequent complaints against other houses in the area as well." Another user responded saying, "this house was pretty close to greek row, so I’d imagine things were pretty loud in that area. the uber driver said in his interview/ article that when he dropped the girls off that night, he could hear music from the frat houses and that it was typical."

"The night of the murders, there was no party in the house, so the noise would be minimal. Maybe there was a party there the night before? But even so, it is hard to Believe someone remained enraged and stabbed 4 people day(s) later," a Reddit comment read. While one user claimed, "That’s not alarming considering it was a known party house…" Another user chimed saying, "We all know that but if their house was always the target that might say something. Anyone knows a party house will most likely get complaints. Maddison seemed annoyed like maybe they weren’t even that loud and one call it was still light out side." A user stated, "Now everyone should understand why the survivors did not hear or ignored any noise." "Just a random thought maybe an irate, crazy neighbor decided to take matters into his own hands since the police couldn’t get the noise complaints under control. They could have gone in, committed the crimes, cleaned up and left on foot back to their home or apartment," one user speculated.
