'Buh bye Beto!' Beto O'Rourke trolled over Greg Abbott's reelection win as Texas governor
AUSTIN, TEXAS: Republican Gov Greg Abbott who bagged over 3 million votes (55.8%) defeated Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke who received 2 million (43%) and won the reelection in Texas. Abbott was first elected in 2014 to the position that has been held by Republicans in the state since 1995. He previously served as Attorney General of Texas, a Texas Supreme Court justice, and a state district judge in Harris County. His race notably highlighted issues such as school safety, gun laws, border security, and abortion.
Abbott is known for having defended his steps on the Texas border during the only gubernatorial debate in September. He was reportedly involved in a $4 billion operation that has included migrant jails and buses to New York, Chicago, and Washington. Although he did not mention where Texas would next send buses refocusing the race on immigration, he went on to defend the destinations to some of the largest Democratic-led cities as practical and not political, reported NBC News.

"There will be other cities in the future that also will be on the receiving end of migrants, because we will continue to have to move migrants because Joe Biden continues to allow more illegal immigrants to come into the state of Texas," Abbott said.
Former congressman and 2020 presidential candidate O’Rourke called the mission a failure. He also attacked Abbott after it was revealed that the number of migrant crossings remained high despite his escalating mission. "We are eight years into his time as governor, and this is what we have on our border," O’Rourke said.
Social media trolled O’Rourke over his failure, with one user saying, "Democrats, how many times must Beto O’Rourke lose before you stop spending millions on shoving him down our throats? Lost the senate race, got smoked in the president primary, had a bad showing for governor… 3 strikes. He doesn’t inspire people. Sorry." "Stacey Abraham and Beto O'Rourke has been so hyped up the MSM and liberals but all they do is just lose elections," one user wrote, while another said, "Seriously, Beto O'Rourke is worse than a f*****g ponzi scheme he has probably wasted a billion dollars at this point (no meme) JUST TO LOSE. Holy s**t, pick a different horse to race..."

One user said, "So long, farewell, buh bye Beto!" "How many times does Beto O’Rourke have to lose before he moves out of Texas? Asking as a progressive in Texas," said one user, while another wrote, "How many years in a row can Beto O’Rourke lose election after election after election, before it’s considered a hobby." "Has Beto O’Rourke ever actually held a political office, or does he just run for all of them and continually lose?" wrote one user.
