MOSCOW, IDAHO: University of Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger was pulled over by cops and reportedly ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt on August 21, 2022, less than 2 miles away from the 1122 King Road house, where the killings took place. As he awaits his next court hearing for the quadruple murders that shook the country, netizens have started questioning whether the suspect had started stalking the murder house on that date.

Kohberger has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder in connection with the killings of four students - Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. He is also charged with a count of felony burglary. Kohberger's next court hearing has been scheduled for June 26.

As per the search warrant documents used to retrieve evidence from the home and office of the suspect, Kohberger was pulled over twice by cops while driving his white Elantra between August and November 13. The car remains one of the key pieces of circumstantial evidence against him. "Further investigation, including a review of Latah County Sheriff's Deputy Corporal (CPL) Duke's body cam and reports, showed that on August 21, 2022, Bryan Kohberger was detained as part of a traffic stop that occurred in Moscow, Idaho, by CPL Duke. At the time, Kohberger, who was the sole occupant, was driving a white 2015 Hyundai Elantra," the search warrant reads. Kohberger gave the police his cellphone number during the stop.

He was also detained on October 14, 2022, as part of a traffic stop by a WSU police officer. "Upon review of that body cam and report of the stop, Kohberger was the sole occupant and was driving a white 2015 Hyundai Elantra," the warrant documents state. The timeline of the events mentioned in the search warrant has prompted several netizens to believe that the suspect might have started surveilling the King Road house on August 21, weeks before the killings.

In a subreddit dedicated to discussing the alleged killer, a Redditor posted a thread with the question, "Significance of Aug 21?". In the thread, the user, whosideawasthecorn, writes, "In the new search warrant, the time frame for searching was Aug 21 - Nov 14. Does this mean BK moved into his place on Aug 21? And the same day he’s pulled over in the area late at night near the King Rd house… Just trying to read between the lines a bit… It’s prob not safe to assume that all devices in his apt were brand new as of Aug 21, does this mean that LE believe he began to stalk/plan all of this on that date?"

Commenting on the post, one user wrote, "Hm, so it really makes that Aug 21 date stand out then. There must be more to that traffic stop." Responding to the statement, another opined, "Sounds like LE started their timeline from August 21 because it was the FIRST definitive date for evidence of him creepy crawling their house." A third user wrote, "I think I remember that yes the stalking started in august, so that could be when it started."
