MOSCOW, IDAHO: Police have made an arrest in the Idaho quadruple murder case after six weeks of investigation and the suspect's name is Bryan Kohberger. He was a PhD student in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University. This revelation has brought relief to everyone hooked to the case. However, there is one particular Internet sleuth who accurately guessed the origin of the perpetrator 28 days ago! The thread was titled, "Is there a possibility the murder is in Pullman/WSU student" Four University of Idaho students, Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Madison Mogen, 21, were found stabbed to death on November 13.
A month ago, when the investigation was at standstill, one Redditor theorized that someone from Washington State Universtiy could have committed the crime. The post on the platform reads, "One thing that kind of stuck out to me is the FBI’s quick involvement in this case. I know they are called in to help with bigger investigations but I also thought a federal crime had to be committed for them to be called in. So I do think there is a possibility LE may think the killer crossed state lines, at the very least they have to have considered it. Considering we don’t know X&E’s missing block of 4 hours and that X had gone recently to J in the Box which is in Pullman… a huge party college it wouldn’t surprise me if they knew some of the college kids there too and frequently crossed state lines to party and get food. I think the WSU campus being so damn close to Moscow (15 minute drive) is possibly hindering the police being forthcoming with information they have not one but TWO college campuses to look at."

Internet sleuth guessed Bryan Kohberger's WSU origin
One user said, "It's not shocking if you're from the area. The two schools are minutes away from each other. I used to go down to WSU and party there when I was younger and am very familiar with the area. My sister went to school at WSU and had six roommates two went to U of I because of how close they are." Another user said, "And the fact that this ONE post was chosen from Reddit of allllllll the options to be featured on the news report on “FALSE ACCUSATIONS AND RUMORS” on NewsNation… irony" One more user wrote, "Very interesting that the OP of this thread was correct. Suspect in custody is a WSU graduate."
One user commented, "My first thought when I saw this case was that if it wasn’t someone who personally knew them, it was probably someone close that frequented the Moscow area. You usually see that with more serial killer or stalker types. They’ll go to places nearby like where they work or where they tend to go a lot. I wonder if BK went to Moscow frequently." Another user said, "Pullman and Moscow communities are so close and WSU students are constantly in Moscow. The population of the community is pretty much - students. So, I don’t think this is much of an Ah-Ha revelation but maybe because I’m familiar." One user wrote, "I remember reading it was WSU parents weekend that weekend, and it was a dry weekend to honor a students death from hazing, so Moscow was extra packed with Idaho and WSU students/crowds because of that."
