On X, one fan shared their thoughts on the movie, saying, "I have seen the garfield movie. and I must say. I quite enjoyed it. it was entertaining all the way through, with some actually really nice jokes. some of them dragged on a bit or didn't land but still. the movie does have a feeling of "the garfield show" from cn than the comics."
