What is inner corner eyeliner?

A favorite TikTok makeup hack, lining the inner corners of your eyes elongates the shape of your eye. This inner corner liner is often paired with an outer corner liner, a look that TikTok calls siren eyes. The trick (and it is a little tricky) is getting the angle just right to have the effect you want.

Also, do not overlook that it is super important to follow the angle of your wing liner in order to create this makeup look. Otherwise, you can risk the inner corner pointing down, giving an illusion of an eyeliner mishap rather than an intentional shape.

What are the steps to do inner eyeliner trend?

1. First, start by doing your normal way of winged liner on your upper lash line.

2. As your first step, try tracing the line you want to create with a light-brown eyeshadow and an angled brush. Then, use this line as a guide when you break out the waterproof formulas.

3. In the third step, decide how long you want the inner corner eyeliner to be, but stop before it touches the side of the nose. If you go a little overboard and need to trim it back, use a cotton swab.

4. Connect the inner eyeliner to the rest of your upper eyelid wing.

5. Line the bottom of the inner corner.

6. Lastly, connect all the lines with short, thin strokes and fill in the little triangle at the inner corner of the eye to pull everything together.
