MOSCOW, IDAHO: A "weird" video shot by Madison Mogen reportedly captured Idaho murder survivor Dylan Mortensen and other roommates goofing around just weeks before the massacre. University of Idaho students Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Kernodle's boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, were fatally stabbed on November 13. The video, reportedly from Madison Mogen's TikTok, shows a costumed Dylan with blue hair as the audio says, “You are f*cking liar, you f*cking manipulator.” The audio is reportedly from the popular drama series ‘Euphoria'.

However, several social media users wondered if the words were a cryptic message. One user wrote on Twitter, “Super creepy but seems like an inside joke.” “Sorry I’m having issues with audio—is it about an outfit as others stated? And does it say you an effing liar, you effing manipulator?” another wondered. Someone noted, “I don't think 'liar' and 'manipulator' are signs the video is simply about an outfit. People keep dismissing anything related to Dylan for someone reason.” “Audio starts by saying you f*cking asshole, you f*cking liar, you f*cking manipulator. Those words don’t seem to describe an outfit,” another argued.

“The audio is from Euphoria a popular show with their age group. The audio was trending at the time. The girls likely watched the show together or talked about the show. I get it doesn't look great to outsiders but I very highly doubt it's related to the murders,” yet another user remarked. Meanwhile, web sleuths’ interest in Dylan peaked after the probable cause affidavit revealed that she came face-to-face with the attacker after being woken by one of the victims sobbing. According to the affidavit, Dylan saw a masked man walk by her and approach the home's sliding glass door on the night of the murders.

The surviving roommate, who was unharmed in the incident, told police that she opened her second-floor door at around 4 am after hearing the crying and stood in "frozen shock" as the man, whom she didn't recognize, strolled past her. She then locked the door before returning to her room. She also heard the suspect say, "It's ok, I'm here to help you." Moscow PD later said that Dylan's statements, combined with Kohberger’s phone records, led them to believe the killings took place between 4 am and 4.25 am. Meanwhile, several questioned why Dylan didn’t call 911 for another eight hours after the murders.
