The affidavit, which was made available to the public on January 5, states that the one-hour window has been cut down to 25 minutes. According to phone records, Kernodle was using TikTok at 4.12 am, showing that she was still awake and alive, as MEAWW previously reported. Details about Kohberger's arrest

Kohberger attended a status hearing on January 12 in an Idaho court. Kohberger waived his right to a prompt preliminary hearing, which would have been necessary within two weeks, according to Kohberger's attorney Anne Taylor, who spoke with Magistrate Judge Megan Marshall. The preliminary hearing will begin on June 26 at 9.00 am local time, according to reports.

The 28-year-old suspect was charged with the murders of four University of Idaho students after being apprehended on December 30 at his parent's house in Pennsylvania. Although Kohberger has not yet been convicted and is being held in custody, he has previously declared through a lawyer that he intends to contest the charges. Despite his meticulous planning, Kohberger is accused of leaving a crucial piece of evidence at the crime scene, the "tan leather knife sheath" that police found close to Mogen's body, according to the affidavit, as reported by Independent.
