MOSCOW, IDAHO: According to an arrest document released Thursday, University of Idaho student Xana Kernodle received a DoorDash delivery less than 20 minutes before she was fatally stabbed in her home.

According to the probable cause affidavit, a driver was dropped off at 4.am with the 20-year-old marketing major's last meal outside the King Road home in Moscow, which likely came from Jack in the Box, as seen in pictures taken at the home by the New York Post.

The disturbing police declaration, which was made public on Thursday, describes how surviving roommates Dylan Mortensen was repeatedly awakened on the night of November 13 before confronting her friend's killer. According to the report, she first awoke at around 4.am to what she believed to be Goncalves playing with her dog in one of the bedrooms above. A short while later, she claimed she overheard what she believed to be Goncalves stating, "There's someone here." However, a forensic examination of Kernodle's phone revealed that she was awake and using the TikTok app at the time, indicating that the sound may have just originated from a video, as per Daily Mail.

According to the complaint, Kernodle was using her phone at 4.12 am but by 4.25 she and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, 20, had been murdered in her bedroom and her roommates Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves both 21, were killed while they slept on a different floor.

As many reports say, Bryan Kohberger was apprehended by police in connection with the crimes on December 30 after a seven-week manhunt. He has not yet been arraigned despite being charged in an Idaho court on Thursday. He has already stated that he will enter a not-guilty plea through counsel.

A Jack in the Box bag labeled with the name "Xana" can be seen inside the three-story off-campus residence in photos taken soon after the murders. Kernodle and Chapin had previously attended a Sigma Chi fraternity party on her final night of life, reported New York Post. Everyone in the house was at home and in their rooms by 4 am except Kernodle, according to surviving roommates Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke.

"[They] both made statements during interviews that indicated the occupants of the King Road Residence were at home by 2.am and asleep or at least in their rooms by approximately 4. am," the affidavit reads. "This is with the exception of Kenrodle, who received a DoorDash order at the residence at approximately 4.00 am"

Law officials spoke with an unnamed DoorDash delivery driver, who provided information about the timeline and was ruled out as a suspect, according to the authorities. Mogen and Goncalves purchased pasta at the Grub Truck food cart in Moscow's downtown at around 1.45 am on the night of the killings after having previously visited the Corner Club, and then they took a car service back to the residence at 1122 King Road.

Police said that they had targeted Kohberger after discovering a car close to the crime site that matched the description of his own vehicle. They later acquired phone records that showed he had been to the crime scene at least 12 times. During the deadly spree, a knife sheath was left at the residence, and its DNA was later confirmed to match Kohberg's.
