President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden got slammed by people after he prevented his four-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, with former stripper Lunden Roberts from using his last name. Hunter made the request to an Arkansas court on January 6, arguing that the name would rob the child of a "peaceful existence."
According to Independent, Hunter's lawyer filed a motion asking Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer to deny the request, stating that the child should take the decision of using the name herself once “the disparagement of the Biden name is not at its height”. The motion comes after the child’s mother asked Judge Holly Meyer on December 27, 2022, to allow her daughter to take Biden's name, arguing that she would benefit as the name is "now synonymous with being well educated, successful, financially acute and politically powerful," states New York Post.

Many questioned the move by Hunter to block his daughter from taking his surname. One wrote, "Good father's would be honored for their child to decide to take their last name in this scenario." Another bashed him by saying, "Can't afford to pay child support but hiring a lawyer is no problem?" One more commented, "He's afraid she'll want her cut."

DNA test confirmed Hunter is the father
Lunden worked as a stripper in Washington DC, at the Mpire Club frequented by Hunter. As per The Sun, she used the stage name 'Dallas', and was an employee there when she met him and became pregnant. Hunter initially denied having any connection with Lunden, however, a DNA test conducted in 2019 confirmed he is the father. And this got followed by Hunter, who shares three adult daughters with ex-wife Kathleen Buhle and a son with second wife Melissa Cohen Biden, settling with Lunden in 2020, as previously reported.
