It’s that time of the season where some of the most influential filmmakers in the industry will come out with their releases and take their best shot to rack up nominations at the Academy Awards. The awards season will be kicking off later this month with the Independent Spirit Awards and one of the movies that look perfectly poised to make a splash during the upcoming awards season is none other than Ridley Scott’s ‘House of Gucci’.

‘House of Gucci’ is going to be one of the first movies that will be having only a theatrical release and won’t be available on any streaming services. The movie, which is based on the novel ‘The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Glamour, and Greed’ by Sara Gay Fordon, chronicles the journey of the renowned Gucci family and its legacy. Apart from showing how Gucci became such a big brand, the film will also take about three decades of love, betrayal, and revenge.

When will ‘House of Gucci’ release and where can you watch it?

Interestingly, Scott has been meaning to make a movie about the downfall of the Gucci family since 2006. At that time, Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio were rumored to play the lead roles. However, the movie could never be made due to some objections leveled by the Gucci family. After a long wait of 15 years, Scott is finally coming out with the movie that’s going to hit the theatres on November 24.

Who stars in the upcoming biographical crime drama?

The movie features some of the finest actors working in Hollywood right now. Lady Gaga will be playing the role of Patrizia Reggiani while Adam Driver will be portraying the character of Maurizio Gucci.
