The movie, which is based on the novel ‘The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Glamour, and Greed’ by Sara Gay Fordon, chronicles the journey of the renowned Gucci family and its legacy. Interestingly, Scott has been meaning to make a movie about the downfall of the Gucci family since 2006. At that time, Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio were rumored to play the lead roles. However, the movie could never be made due to some objections leveled by the Gucci family. After a long wait of 15 years, Scott is finally coming out with the movie that’s going to hit the theatres on November 24.

On the other hand, the screenplay of the movie is penned by Becky Johnston and Roberto Bentivegna. Apart from Scott, notable personalities like Giannina Scott, Kevin J. Walsh, and Mark Huffam serve as producers on the movie.
