'Hot and Heavy': Rusty draws flak from fans for stopping Kristen from undergoing bariatric surgery
Rusty and Kristen have been together for two years and now want to have a family of their own. However, Kristen's weight has been making it hard for the couple to conceive. The only way that Kristen can get pregnant is if she gets a bariatric surgery but getting surgery is something that Rusty is completely against.
Rusty explained that he loves Kristen the way she is and wouldn't mind if she was a little bit bigger. He further explained that he likes to make sure that everything is done naturally rather than settling for a surgery. However, Kristen does not think that Rusty is taking the right decision by stopping her from getting surgery.
Kristen is keen on having a child and is ready to do whatever it takes. Even though Rusty seemed adamant about the idea of not having surgery, Kristen revealed that in the end, she would be deciding that she wants to do. She then decided to visit a doctor for consultation and was advised to get the surgery done if she wanted to think about getting pregnant.
While Kristen did not mind undergoing surgery she knew that it would spoil the relationship she shares with Rusty. While she is constantly thinking about Rusty and his decision, fans think that he is being selfish and unreasonable.
Many took to social media to express their disappointment over this. "We’re going to slowly see this “Rusty” guy become demeaning & abusive toward this woman. Maybe not physically, but emotionally. Girl, do what you want to do & drop his ass if he isn’t on board," one wrote.
Another added, "Rusty I get you like her just the way she is, but if she WANTS it then idk let her cuz it's her body and her health on the line" while another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "Rusty is an ass. Let's not focus on her health because that's not what you want. I don't like him."
